Princess seeks Prince Charming

Hello! My name is Helen, I'm 19 yrs old but I'm often told that I seem older due to my maturity. I live in the countryside in a beautiful tiny village in between the borders of Bedfordshire and Cambridgeshire.. I love the countryside, my mother's grew up on a farm in Northern Ireland which I visit a lot so I'm a northern country girl at heart! Saying that, I don't mind the town, It just wouldn't be a preference to live there.
I recently moved back in with my family after breaking up with my ex who I shared a place together with, but I'm saving up to get my own place again soon.
I have a dog, he's a minature poodle called Murray and I love him. I love all animals, well most animals anyway.
I've worked as a Lifeguard for years, it's really not as exciting as it looks on tv, don't be fooled into becoming one like I did. My main job right now though is as a Care Assistant at a nursing home for those with bad cases of Dementia. I love what I do, the residents are all family to me. I'm looking to become a mental health nurse one day.
I'm quite an artsy person, I love drawing portraits and painting, writing poetry and songwriting, playing my guitar, singing and dancing, and reading - I'm a secret bookworm.
I'm a very happy and positive person, I'm confident but not overly loud, sometimes I like to just sit back and observe others around me.
I'm looking for a true gentleman, but I'm not so sure if they exist anymore. I may be young but I want ideally to be married within the next 5 years and to start a family soon after. Starting a family in a loving marriage is all I've ever dreamt of and is my main goal in life. Everyone tells me I should have been living in the 50s, because I want to be a full time mum and wife, looking after the children, my husband and the house. I'd love to juggle a job in there too, but I think men should be men and women be women. However don't get me wrong, I'm not a pushover and I think both partners in a relationship should always be viewed as equally important in what they do, I can't stand men that don't respect women. I'm looking for someone with similar old-school views.
